The Winery

Busby is a small, but modern facility and is one of the northern most wineries in the Fair Play AVA. The winery site is on a small knoll with beautiful views of the picturesque countryside.

The Vineyards

The estate grows Barbera, Zinfandel, Syrah, Merlot, Grenache, Sangiovese and Chardonnay. The winery also purchases Bastardo grapes from a neighboring vineyards.

The Wines

Busby offers a little taste of the Rhone, Bordeaux, Italy, and a pure Californian Zinfandel. One interesting wine they produce is a port made from the Bastardo grape, uncommon in the foothills.

The Winemaker

Husband and wife Sherrie and Elliott Graham are the owners of Busby Cellars. Elliott has taken on the winemaking duties, focusing on brining out the varietal characteristics and taste of terroir from the estate’s mountain grown grapes.
